JOURNAL OF INDIAN AND AFRICAN STUDIES: ISSN 3107-8834 is a multidisciplinary journal that provides an integrated perspective on the field of India-African Studies. The journal brings together research on India-African Studies in the humanities and social sciences, and provides scholars with a platform covering, but not restricted to, their particular fields of interest and specialization. Such an approach is critical to the field, for the development of more informed and broader perspectives, and of more overarching theoretical conceptions.

JIAS strongly encourages trans disciplinary analysis of contemporary and historical social change in India-African Studies by offering a meeting space for international scholars across the social sciences, including art and archaeology, anthropology, cultural studies, criminology, development Studies, education, economics, geography, history, human rights, international relation, law, linguistics, political science, psychology, social policy, social work, sociology. JIAS publishes peer-reviewed research articles, special thematic issues, and shorter symposiums. JIAS also publishes book reviews, research notes, and short essays on India and African societies.
